This is an initial 3 month contract with an immediate start. The role will roll or be offered on a Perm basis for the right candidate.
Requirements
· Solid grounding in Project Management for technical projects.
· Ability to deliver on-time and to budget is also essential.
· Experience of developing high volume products and/or systems with large numbers of users (250k+).
· Previous experience in business analysis functions, full project life cycle, including design and development, prototyping, testing and release
· Previous experience documenting projects and product deliverables.
· A proven track record in Software Development is desirable.
· Bachelor`s degree (2:1+) in science, engineering, software engineering, business, or computer science; advanced degree desirable.
· Previous experience in working in a Project Management capacity for delivering solutions to external parties and government agencies. Ability to represent the company in an efficient and professional manner at all times.
· Ability to learn about legacy systems quickly and understand a wide range of complex technologies.
· Possesses an understanding in the areas of hardware and electronics, embedded and server application programming, database and system design.
· Understands Internet, Intranet and client server architectures.
· Understands internet, wireless and telephony (ISDN/GPRS) communications protocols and their effective use in delivering products using client/server architecture.
· Knowledge of navigation systems, traffic information, maps and routing would be an advantage
· Ability to ‘hit-the-ground’ running.
· Ability to either manage technical architectural design within the development department, or liaise with a separate technical architect / architectural team to ensure that my client`s products are using the best technology.
· Good communication with business sponsors and project stakeholders and appropriate escalation as required. Effective management of end user expectations.
