My client is a family owned business with over 40 years experience in the catering equipment industry, delivering directly to the caterer.



They carry an extensive range of over 20,000 non food products products from leading branded suppliers, enabling them to service a diverse and extensive customer base.



Whilst the majority of their business is located in and around the South of England, they service national customers throughout England and Wales.



Their customer-focused approach has enabled them to achieve continued organic growth, generating current annual sales of around £24 million.



As Area Sales Manager you will be fully responsible for creating new opportunities within pubs, restaurants, hotels, contract caterers, golf clubs, leisure centres, cafes and takeaway eateries whilst managing all the existing clients within your specific area.



The right candidate will be a chef / have a strong interest in food or hold a qualification in catering, and will have a proven external sales background. In return for this, we are looking to pay a basic salary around £23-£25k with an expected first year bonus of £10-£15k. This will include 25 days holiday, a fully expensed company car, contributory pension and home office / mobile/ laptop etc.
