Role:
This is field based sales role working primarily concentrating on new business making on average 6 to 8 calls per day.
Each external sales person will be working alongside an external van sales colleague who will do the day-to-day order taking and delivering. Every van sales colleague carries stock so they have the ability to `influence` the customers order at the point of sale in the event of any necessary amendments or want to try something new.
The successful candidate will be dealing with the decision maker of the business this can be anybody from the head chef, manager, buyer, and owner. You will have complete autonomy over your area as to the markets to target. You will also have the power to negotiate within the margins that you have.
Selling to a diverse range of end users including Restaurants, Education, Health Care, Sandwich Bars, Delicatessens, Hotels, Pubs, Leisure Centers, Nursing Homes, Contract Caterers, Golf Clubs - anywhere with a professional kitchen
There will be a split of approximately 20% account management and 80% new business develop

Candidates must demonstrate a thorough understanding of a competitive sales environment and provide an organised, passionate and focused approach to work within the Food Service Sector. You will have exposure to direct sales negotiation or field marketing. Applications are welcomed from across the sales arena including foodservice, drinks, FMCG, non-food consumables and product marketing.
Pacakge
Basic: £28000 to £34000
Car: range of vehicles or car allowance of £5500 per annum.
Holiday: 23 days plus statutory
